About the breeder

A few words about me - the breeder!

My passion for dogs started quite early when I was a child, I always had dogs that became members of the family.

After 2 years of not having a dog, I decided to share my live with a dog again; this time it would be a Rhodesian Ridgeback. First I read the relevant books, then I checked the internet for more information. After I saw the picture of Banjo's father ‘Ye Japha Banjoko’, I decided to get a puppy from this wonderful dog.

In 2007 it finally happened: 17 “faultless puppies” were born in the Kennel Isanusi. Since the end of May 2007, “Banjo”, a male puppy, has been a member of the family.
Banjo grew up and when he was 2 years old, I decided it was time for a second dog.
It took one and a half years to find an appropriate female partner for Banjo. Her name is Fali and she became the new member of the family in November 2010.
2 years later, I could not resist keeping one of the offspring of our beloved Banjo. This little girl has been living as part of the family since August 2012.
In keeping with the motto 'only one Ridgeback is no Ridgeback', I have welcomed my Canadian whirlwind Kena into the pack in December 2012.

My Ridgebacks really enrich my life and I cannot imagine living without them at all.

So we follow the motto:
Only one Ridgeback is like no Ridgeback

It may be possible to live without dogs but it is not worthwhile doing so.

„He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”
